    guys!

for the past year I have been debating taking my truck through a car wash with the snorkel. I was concerned about damages it would cause and if the snorkel head would survive the bristles.

before I get the "you should never wash your truck in an automatic car wash" I live on a mil/base housing in CA where it is illegal to wash in drive way and the self service are expensive plus this is a truck....not a e30 M3 ;)

anywho, I hope this video serves as a reference for anyone else in my boat, debating on taking their truck through a car wash.

I am happy to answer any questions or clarify anything that I missed.

    You animal...

I'm in the same boat, sans-snorkel, except its HOA rules—which honestly might be worse, the Karens can be pretty furious out here. I usually take it to a friend's house to wash, but I too have hit the regular car wash every now and again.

Lol. Your HOA doesn't allow using your driveway? Wow.

I'm assuming the HOA is doubling down on the state's water restriction do to drought

A better question is how do you afford an e30 m3 in the military

We always have some type of water restriction do to the gnarly ongoing drought issue here.

Wooo another black DCLB all bronzed out. Where did you get the toyota in that bronze for the tailgate? I really like that but never seen it in bronze on black before!

    Thanks. I like it.

Found a seller on Etsy that can pretty much do anything, within reason.

I think the best way to combat that is pull your truck up on your grass to wash it.

It's a Leer and I think it's a 100r. I have an email out to Leer about it. I gave them my serial number so they could check it.

Looks great. Just a heads up a sealed battery is recommended with these. The battery acid eats at the aluminum if it gets on them

Just added some "makeup" to the rear glass. Really gotta get that chrome delete done on the rear bumper

Got a steal on some headlights. Not sure what brand but got them for $80. And makes the truck look 100% better. Now I can save my old ones for a future project.

As I approached my truck as I was leaving the gym I noticed I had picked up hundreds of little red companions while I was getting my pump on.
Okay seriously, wtf are these little guys and why have they temporarily (sayonara, as I have a heavy foot) set up shop on all four of my tires?48965DCD-BF32-40D4-A6BF-383679264614.jpgC1AF8FCF-3105-4C25-B78F-87686B2221D1.jpg
