I always thought I was street savvy growing up in Baltimore. Then I went to NYC, 42nd street. Holy shit! My Mom was dating a guy that lived in Jersey and we all went up to Rockefeller Plaza bla bla bla. I was 14 or 15. So he was driving, and we're in traffic cruising, looking OoooAhhhh. A guy with an apron on is kinda crossing the street, kinda in front of us, but not really. He stage dives on the hood like a porpoise coming up on the landing for a fish! Moms baue jumps out and snatches the guy up by his shirt and reels back, all the while the other guy's screaming we ran him over, and he tells him to beat it or else. The whole episode lasted 3 minutes tops but I was stoked! I had to piss. We were alongside Central Park, and I asked a cop where I could go. He said in the park.

In the baltimore area converters are being stolen a lot. I work in the parts industry, I know.

 

This sounds familiar. It was the mid 60's.

Dad moved us around quite a bit being in the Marines. Hawaii too for some years. Then later I just moved around a lot to see things. Florida for as long as it took to be done with the humidity and palm roaches.

Well Gentlemen, I kind of got hosed on a tonneau cover. I bought a cover online sating it would fit my 05-15 and its for a 16-23. So, if anybody needs a BRAND NEW IN BOX hard trifold tonneau with all the hardware, hit me up, its beautiful and the company wont let me return it and I cant even use it.





I believe the brand is “G-Plus” but it has no markings on it. I’ll make somebody a hell of a deal on it.

 

That is a major bummer and pretty shitty on behalf of the company’s customer service. The very least they could allow you to do would be like an exchange of sorts, maybe you cover shipping costs, idk. Sorry you got burned on this.

 

For sure that is a bummer.

Is it for the long or short bed?

 

They offered a partial refund only so now I gotta sell it to break even. Its definitely advertised wrong because i measured the length of the bed on my dad’s 2020 access cab and the cover would fit his truck perfectly….problem is, he already has a nice bed cover…
