Nice! That was honestly my 2nd choice for colors. And hey, AAV’s are a vital asset to the marines! Lol even though they break down all the time and are a pain to work on

Even if they start to advertise and even build the new year (2023) in early fall won't the same roll of dice just carry over? I can't imagine that the shortage of parts would only apply to 2022 models. I was told by multiple dealers where I have deposits that the reason i'm waiting is because i requested the advanced tech package because it includes the MTM option.

Nice! You're the only person I've heard of so far getting a discount, especially on a Pro! Was the truck already over MSRP then? If you don't mind sharing...

If you have a temporary VIN, the build week is listed right in front of the letter. You can tell you have a temporary VIN if the last 6 characters include a letter. My temporary VIN is 3TYCZ5AN9NT24A512 - so the letter is A, and the 2 digit week for my build is 24 - the 24th week of 2022 - so Jun 13 - Jun 19.

This is a quick site to give you some dates: https://www.calendar-week.org/2022/24

I know that the 2023 Tacoma is most likely going to be the last model year of the current platform. The gen 4 will most likely come out in 2024. So I’m pretty sure they’ll stop production of the 2023 model year in the late summer of next year. As for the shortage, I’ve heard that there’s a shortage of leather or something, so all of the guys who want the Trd offroad premium or sport premium are going to have to wait longer.

Can anyone check this VIN for me? 3TMHZ5BN8NM132314

Put a deposit down in January of this year and it was finally allocated and built in mid-May... now comes the hard part! knowing it was built but still in transit.

No you're not. I placed a deposit in October. I have since started looking at Trail models and might have a chance to snag one of those and then wait for the 2023 Pro as at this rate that's what it's going to be.

No deposit is non-refundable. They may drag their feet getting it back to you. But that is your money.
