Believe it or not I have a big cheap mesh swimming pool bag I got from Walmart. I think around 40L haha meant for taking your wet towel and whatnot to the beach, and that is my main means of grocery getting. I can fit a TON of food in that thing

    Thanks!

Good call on not taking the bike to the bachelor party. I made the mistake of riding my bike to a friends wedding three or four years ago. It was at a spot where you could camp, so it was fun with all the bike camping gear and what not.. but let me tell you, no matter how fast you ride you can't outrun a hangover and hangover breath in a helmet is the absolute worst. Plus having to stop and chug gatorade every half hour sucked. Top 10 worst rides ever lol.

Agreed. Just sucks for honest hard working folks who placed orders and are now highly unlikely to get anything out of it. I know at one time several years ago Bike Bandit was one of the better online parts houses.

Seems to be alot of this scamming going on. Several companies on this forum have fallen victim to it also, along with lots of people. Hope theres a good outcome to those that have paid

That was a very interesting read. I've only done business with Bike Bandit once, about 5 or 6 years ago. Fortunately, I did not run into any issues, but I only resorted to them because my usual go to outfits, Rocky Mtn ATV, Motosport & Revzillia, did not have the items in stock.

Congratulations! Maui is gorgeous, do the Road to Hana if you can, even in a rental car and check out 7 pools. Very fun cliff jumping spot.

We ended up renting a bike on the big island when we went for our honey moon. Was a different way to see the island if only a couple of hours.

Peep that gopro hero 2.

Bike Bandit used to be great for OEM parts without needing to go to a dealer because they had schematics on the site. Kinda a shame they are gone.

The Mrs. vetoed road to hana on account of the 620 turns and her occasionally getting carsick, maybe next time I'll ditch her for the day and rent a dual sport to do it on.

Now that my Vincent is really wrapped up I found a great deal on the next project.
Picking up a Vincent engine and a Norton featherbed frame to make a “Norvin”

Very random but the engine belongs to another one of the 120 red bikes they made. Has a bit of a neat history and appeared in cycle world in 1969
I will probably end up going with different body work as there are much more attractive options but we shall see. I have a feeling this will be a good 3-5 year project.

Took some pics last night of the stickers I have in/on my trunk.

    [IMG] [IMG]

USA map with states colored in is just a smaller version of what people put on their RVs and those are the states I've visited on the FJR in just 2018 and 2019. Need to get further south west.

Got the parts for the other side (closest Lowes only had enough for one side) mounted, then tossed some orange vinyl in the Cricut and banged out some decals.

Looks pretty close to OEM if you didn't know any better. Very pleased with how they came out. The case handles even work as hand holds for a pillion since the 390s didn't come with any.
