It seems like I have been finding myself more and more looking at Northern Tool for stuff over Harbor Freight. Not sure why.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I don't think it's as much the carriers fault as it is the scooters fault.

Anybody have experience with these types for motorcycle tire changers? Looks like it's a new HF item, but similar to other ones I've seen online
I want to mess with different dirt bike tires and trying bib mousses, which look to be a PITA to install. Might make it easier

I have the larger one. A real pain to use if it isn't bolted down. I tried bolting it to a pallet, but that didn't help much.

If it's still a PITA with this tool then I'd probably stick with the old c-clamps and wood blocks approach (which does usually involve 4 letter words and sweating.)

What "motorcycle " could go on that carrier and not block the lights? Maybe on a full size since they are a bit wider, but not by much.

Is your shells third brake light not hooked up? If so, to use your own words, incredibly unsafe ;)

KTM powerparts luggage rack and 2 Harbor Freight Apache 3800 cases plus some hardware from home depot and I'm good to go! Perfect size to jam my fly fishing kit in, as well as can pull grocery getter duty. And saves me like 300 bucks over the KTM branded cases. Tossed some orange vinyl in the Cricut and banged out some decals. Looks pretty close to OEM if you didn't know any better; two of my coworkers asked where I ordered those cases from.

Only turns on when I'm stepping on the brakes. I can't take a pic from behind the truck, while also stepping on the brakes. The 3rd brake still doesn't show turn signals.

Their engine hoist sure comes in handy for hoisting 1 ton axles out of the bed.

Here's the HF Fischer ATV/Mower lift in action lifting my 1000lb GT. This is an awesome lift and doubles as a motorcycle lift with the cradles off. I lifted a 200lb iron GT transaxle up to my workbench after using it to lower it out of the tractor.

We need to use tools to help us in our old age. No reason to blow a grape when there are cheap lifting assist available.

I remember very well bench pressing a TH 350 up to an engine.

Those days are done and gone.

Won't argue with that. I remember the days of carrying a 20R from the truck to the workbench. Got smarter and got tools to do the work.

I bought the same one, and bought this, did a bunch of mods to it, then went to Moab for 2 weeks.20180428_183240.jpg

Anyone tried using one of these for storage on a roof rack? If so how was the wind noise?
I'd rather not shell out $600 for a thule/yakima case that I won't use very often.

I did the smog delete mod with a Thumper jet and FMF pipe. You grab a handful of throttle, bang it into the next gear and the ground explodes underneath the rear tire. It pulls 70mph wheelies, and was a beast at Moab. Take care brother.
