Where Have You Off-Roaded Today? 3rd Gen

Went camping in the Huachucas this weekend and did some off-roading on sat as well.

 

Over the weekend we made an expeditious, pseudo-Mojave Road trip to the river and back. Our route/stats.

The words etched into the concrete slab state that Delores Holland lived from March to July 4, 1931. They also say "Please let her rest in peace." The cross is made from railroad spikes. Coins and small toys show that people are touched by this infant whose story is unknown.

Delores was the daughter of Sheldon Joseph "Joe" and Bertha Holland. Joe was a Union Pacific section foreman at King, Kelso, and Yermo. He also worked as Yermo's town constable.

 

A muddy, high altitude kind of weekend in La Plata County, CO (home) - my brother is visiting and we put his T4R through its paces.

 

Now I see why they called it Lunar Rock.

 

I offroad daily! I live in Puerto Rico and our roads are considered a rally course!

 

Gold Mountain in Big Bear. Not nearly as bad as I thought it'd be. 35s made for an easy-going day.

Totally doable in a stock Taco, especially with a locker.

Good times in the delta with a buddy I met on here. Wife went with me and had a blast too

 

Went to Moses Lake dunes again (not sure how to upload videos, but got some good whoop and jump footage)


And went to Tahuya next day, all weakpoints have been figured out and now its time to prep for the Rubicon in 3 weeks!

Fishing trip a couple days ago. Had the lake to myself. 8 rainbows, catch and release on the fly.

 

Over Memorial Day weekend we went back down towards Big Sur to adventure the Lost Coast. There was a bunch of road closures to where we were originally going to go (Prewitt Ridge) but ended up on Los Burros road.

 

FYI Los Burros will take you to the South Coast Road along the ridge. Turn left on South Coast and head North and it will take you to Prewitt Ridge.

 

There were a bunch of road closures I think for Memorial Day, also it was only a short day trip and we didn't have much time :/ going to be going back late July to camp though, should give us more time to explore!
