You bet. I’ve had it out in a pretty good wind/snow storm overnight and it was very stable. Driving in the wind presents no issue. The website lists it weight capacity while closed and I don’t remember what that specific number is, but it is very stout. I was very concerned about snow loads when I was initially looking, and I’m not worried about that with the Topotopper-the opening hinges and struts are very robust.
No leaks at all from the topper, just in the process of putting in weatherstripping for the usual 3rd gen bed issues (tailgate and bulkhead corner gaps).

Just saw they extended the lead times on their website to 12-14 weeks, but at least the price is still the same!

I recently went by the shop to ask some questions about the L brackets and they told me the lead time was being extended from the 8-10 weeks they had when I ordered.

They reached out to me around week 7-8 about setting up a delivery day for the 10th week with a possibility it would be ready a week early. I definitely appreciated the heads up as it allowed me to adjust my schedule. Ultimately my topper was delivered on the 10 week as expected.

I really like it. I’ve only used it for overnights one time and it worked perfectly, the same goes for day use at the beach or similar.

I’m part of a GFC forum as that was the topper I was going to get. I’ve read several issues with leaks in different parts so I purposely left it out in the rain to see if it leaked. So far no issues. I also went over the tent really good to check for any problems with gaps or missed seams and found nothing. Overall the workmanship looks excellent.

I also really like that I can still use it as a truck when I need to which is one of the reasons I went with the blank pop up style topper. Overall very happy…I’ve noticed their IG account that they moved to a bigger shop so I’m guessing they are picking up production at least somewhat.

    Hope this helps…

Just placed my deposit. Having the manufacturer 90 minutes away one big plus. 3 -4 month lead time also a good thing...

Same here, Being able to look over it first hand including opening and closing and crawling around the owners personal rig was a big plus in my book. I couldn’t get around the thought of ordering a big ticket item without putting hands on it first…

Officially on the 9th week of my lead time.

I was able to sell my bed rack, tonneau cover and RTT two weeks into my lead time. So my truck has been looking pretty weird lately, to me at least haha.

Can't wait for my install date!

Does anyone know if the topper clears a prinsu rack over the cab?

    Update:
They actually just answered my question. Looks like they cut a couple inches under the overhang.

There’s 3rd gens on their IG with Prinsu racks, not cut.

Did they tell you it has to be cut now?

If so, this would be really unfortunate, as the reason I want to keep the Prinsu on is for the handles and light bar I installed. Not to mention it just looks better, filling in the void on top of the cab. I wonder if it has to do with bed flexing when off-roading and the topper hitting the rack.

I actually just received my install date email and they mentioned they’re officially asking buyers to remove their racks prior to installation now.

    Ah, thanks for that.

Yep, just as I thought. I may try installing metal-backed edge trim before I end up taking my angle grinder to it and drilling new holes for the handles.

Let us know how it goes. Definitely curious if there’s enough flex in the bed to actually make contact with the rack.

I've finally settled on an install date, July 15th!

It's two weeks after their original request to install, but I'll be away on a trip.

Once installed, it will have been a little over a 15-week lead time. Can't wait!!

These campers look really cool. I wish they offered a full sized side door option (similar to a super pacific). Is there any way to lock yourself into these campers while camping? Also, is there a way to lock the latches so nobody can unhatch your camper and get into it while you are away from the truck?

Literally the reason why I went with this topper, a lot more head space. My partner or I can also hangout on the bed in it's couch form, while another is getting things done around the truck bed (cooking, bathing, etc). I know I don't have the camper yet, but I've played this scenario in my head many times lol. I plan to build this as a 4-season camper.

And the fact that campers like the GFC with access doors all around don't do very well of keeping out the elements like dirt and dust. Take a look around on message boards and you'll see people mentioning this.
