Some dude is wasted and wearing only his boxer shorts holding a firework above his head when the mortar tube explodes and blows his hand apart.

 

The firework also hit a bystander who suffered a punctured lung. I believe both were airlifted. I wasn't there and thats all 2nd info but thats the word on the street.

 

Gotta say, that's not the place I really want to be.

 

Washoe Sheriffs fucking hate that place, I wouldn't be surprised if this results in charges being filed against the dude who set off the firework to make an example of him.

Wasted,wearing only his boxer shorts and holding a mortar tube. Honestly, him holding the mortar tube is the only difference between him and I.

 

It’s actually a red ear aka shell cracker. It was a monster. 2.3#. The biggest one I’ve ever caught for sure. There’s a ton of them along with bass, trout, crappie, blue gill and cats on the lake. Pine Mountain Lake.

 

Ahh... I'm used to seeing them with red/orange-ish mark on the side of the gills. Biggest ones I usually catch were about the size of my hand, any bigger were usually crappies. I've yet to catch a red ear that big . What bait/lure? Wax worms (and sometimes smaller red worms) are my go-to bait for that family of fish.

 

Yeah that one didn’t have much of a red mark behind the black dot.
Wax worms were crushing it that day but I was using a 3/32 micro finesse jig head and a 1.5” anisoptera. It’s a little bug bait. Eurotackle.net has the most epic panfishing soft plastics and terminal tackle.
