Always wanted to put fat money into an XT250. Closest to a trials bike I’ve ridden. Just underpowered, outdated, and cheap ha.

I found an that a 5 lb tank is only good for about 2 nights. They really use the fuel. Just a bit of advice. They are awesome and handy.

Speaking of. The guy across from us at an Anza-Borrego RV site last weekend restores these old beauties. Took me right back to junior high school.

I’ll tell ya a funny story,.. At our fire station we had a propane grill on our deck ( outside on the second floor ) our fire prevention officer was doing an inspection on the apartment building behind our station , and he was explaining to one of the occupants that they would have to remove their propane grill because they are not allowed on the second floor ( the person pointed over to our grill which was right in their line of site and about 100 yards away and said “ like that grill right there .” Lol ,…. So we had to either get rid of it or hard pipe it in with natural gas ,.. which we ended up doing .

Is this law in case the propane grill somehow falls over the edge and bursts into flames on the ground?

Lol, I don’t know the reasoning behind the law but maybe it has something to do with all the apartment buildings in Boston , if there are propane tanks on the balconies of the upper floors and there’s a fire in the building and everyone runs out and then the fire dept gets there , at least they can drag the ones on the first floor away from the building , I don’t know if you’ve ever seen one of those explode, it will blow a house right off its foundation .

Maybe it has something to do with propane being heavier than air. A propane leak on the second floor will settle into the structures lower floors creating a giant bomb.

Stars were good to a point, but we were there during a full moon -- had lots of light at times during the night.

We were at the southern end of Canyonlands NP.

I own one of three access cabs in California. They're pretty rare here.

We really needed the water, last year was terrible for our lakes and rivers. Water levels at the lakes I fish were all down 3-4 feet.

Dude... in the West the lakes are drying up and bodies are being found left and right. I mean whopper lakes out here. Lake Mead/ Lake Powell.
Lake Mead down 1050 feet... Lake Powell down 550 feet.

I suspect water rationing will ensue by the end of the summer -

We got plenty of water now here. Its too bad we didnt have some sort of pipeline we could funnel extra water over to you with. Bet the Mississippi could fill up Mead pretty fast.
