    Good morning, Moose!

The upper GI was not bad at all. waiting for the results analysis from my doctor.

Outside garden work today. Ripping out the fall Pansies and planting Begonias'. Going to trim back some shrubs out front. We are getting ready for our Nashville trip next week.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Gals! Another light day on the schedule. Just fixed some doors on a sports cabinet, and then the wife claimed it instead of selling it on the street. Loaded up the truck with cardboard for a run this morning, and spent the afternoon poolside. Probably spend this afternoon poolside as well.
    And pay the bills....

All the parts arrived for the total coolant system refresh on my Z3. Now I need to channel my inner "Mike" and get the courage to rip it all apart.

Good morning fellow Porchatonians!! Got 1/2 of the grass cut before the thunderstorms caught up with me. Hopefully I can get the other half done today.

We also have new garage doors and openers being installed today.

What's all the fuss, those Britts sure know how to put on a show for an old lady in a blue outfit!
I don't remember which of the royals came to tour the ship, but we were on standoff with the small boats with marines onboard for added security while they were there.

Going to make the trip in the Avalon. It really is a comfortable car on a decent trip. Plenty of storage space. I enjoy driving the car.

Mike I am enjoying your pictures. If you ever compete further south let us know the date and location. I do have a question, about tools, that you might know the answer to, I am looking for a nice set of quality small screwdrivers to work on consumer electronic gear. I know this might not be your forte but I do respect your opinion.

Dropping off my guitar for some fret work, adjusting and new strings today. heading to the grocery store and going to get a haircut. Might even grill up a NY strip steak for dinner.

Now THAT ride is what I spent my money for! Thanks to Brandin at 4Lo-Fab in New Braunfels! That's right guys, I dropped from the 700 to 600 on front, and THAT was the good choice he gave me confidence to order. And, I got them new at $25 each, so an affordable chance to take vs. 650's.
Brandin added a skosh more preload, and I am within a half inch (scientifically measured!) of where I was. And the front now has SHOCK absorbers, AND springs, working together. And them being smooth, dragged the back along for the ride. Damn near perfect.

    Haven’t forgotten you.
    I have a small set. (Actually 3).
If I can get time I’ll get pics and see if I can find the name.
Are you talking eye glass screw size or the bigger ones?

    Good morning fellow Porchatonians!!

Never got dry enough here for me to cut grass after the garage door installers left. I did manage to track down a new battery for my old DR Field Mower so, hopefully, I can get that thing started today.

We went with a stock color on the garage doors and it turned out almost a perfect match for what we've been using on the wood. No more painting ad dealing with wood rot on the front of the garage now!!

Old door - bottoms are held on with screws and glue at this point.

    And the new ones.

I'm amazed at how quiet the new door openers are.

    Enjoy the day!!

Mike: small eyeglass size. I was replacing a battery in a JBL Charge 3 Bluetooth speaker and the small screws were set in by a machine. It was hard on the fingers to break the initial bond of the screw to the plastic. On most small screwdrivers the shaft is so thin it is actually hard to break the bond, I have a very old set that are decent but made for small screws that were set in the 60's. The small shaft and finger pad on the top do not allow for the torque needed in todays small screws to break the bond. The screwdriver I used had a hole through the shaft that I was able to insert another screwdriver through to use it as s miserable T-Driver. It was difficult at best to manage the small T-Driver and hold the speaker stable.

Looks nice Mark. We replaced the new doors 3 years ago along with the openers. The new openers can be controlled by an app from anywhere I have internet access. I was tired of fixing 54 year old wooden doors with grease, bolts and bubblegum.

Having the Avalon detailed today. This will allow me to put another 2 coats of wax on this weekend before we leave on Tuesday.
