    Already had the driver side installed for a week and it worked great, installed the passenger side today and it was easy since I figured out the easiest way to run the wires through the boot. After all said and done it didn't work and i spent like 1hr trying to figure it out. Turned out to be the dome 7.5a blew, replaced it and everything worked. Not sure how it blew. lol

    @MESO On a scale of 1-10, how difficult would it be to make puddle pods where every other light was a red LED and has a way to switch it back and forth between white and red?

    wouldn't be too hard, but there would need to be another wire ran to control the new color. Also, you would defiantly be sacrificing the white output in lue for some red....

    I did something similar to this when putting the driver mirror back together, but the OEM mirror harness was what got pinched. Luckily everything works fine and there are no shorts. Seems only the outer insulation got damaged but I can see it being a problem in the future. Would I need to buy a new mirror altogether or is it possible to replace just the wiring to the mirror?
