Sorry to hear. This is what I planned on doing but I've heard too many horror stories and I'm not sure it's worth it. Hope it gets resolved.

Spent the long weekend replacing factory suspension with 205k on the odometer…ECGS clamshell bushing. Might have to knockout the diff drop this weekend. So far it rides like a dream!

We are seeing this quite a bit. It wasn't the oil filter for me, something else, I may post it up one day.

Are the power brakes for front, or rear?

If you don't mind, with the adjustability of the factory seat, what does the additional height offer?

I have the steering wheel tilted up all the way and the seat lifted to a point where I can comfortably slide in but would not want to go much higher.

    Thanks!

My favorite spot to just got and waste away on the weekend. Normally head down there during the fall when the tourist season is over with.

For me, I have long legs and never really felt supported by the seat and would get low back pain. The power seats were a slight improvement over my 2nd gen, but the risers make it so I'm completely supported by the seat.

Glad you figured out the connector situation. I try to make it clear in the instructions, but it can still be a little confusing. I can't believe Toyota allowed for two identical connectors in the Head Unit interface.

Exactly like that, except I was under the driver's fender wondering "how the fuck am I gonna get to work tomorr-- waitaminnit, how the fuck am I going to close the garage door wit the fuckin truck sticking out like that!?" ..."Oh Wait! Cam Bolts! I feel better."

... There might have also been some periods of experimentation on how my LCA interacts with my big rubber mallet. :anonymous::anonymous:

Turns out, LCAs can brush off a mallet attack as if it were a light kiss from a bump stop. But I didnt think of that at the time.

It does look pretty tall, you still have the stock 265-65's? They'll make it look that way. How much lift did you get & how did the alignment go?

    Anyways now you need tires.

265-70-17s. Don't want to go much bigger than that, its primary purpose is to tow the popup.

Getting it aligned tonight or tomorrow, and possibly a quote on how much to reset it to a lower clip.

The came-with-the-shock 650s up front, Icon AAL in rear, kept the overload in.

The 3rd gen I'm working on (Wife's rig) has the same size tires. Just did the front today. Rear Dakars tomorrow. Out with the old in with the new. Bye bye spacer lift never again. I will be using her OEM leaf springs to bandaid fix my 2nd gen until I get a set of Dakars also. Banks a little low after buying all 4 Bilstein 5100's, OME Dakars and Rough country upper control arms.
