Probably a long shot but anyone looking good swap for a regular mgm hood from a 2015? I'm looking for a hood with scoop.

My hood has failing clearcoat but no dents, dings, or deep scratches, so I'd be willing to add cash as well if needed.

Did you ever do this? I'm contemplating doing mine as well. My roof is seen better days and the front edge of my hood is covered in rock chips.

No. I'm considering repainting it. Though I'm still on the fence because it does look kind of cool. Overall, I'm just mad at Toyota paint.

That looks decent. Where'd you get it? Do you charge a 2nd battery or an external battery?

I ran it to a Redarc charger that charges a second battery. I picked up the solar panel from Cascadia on a group buy, but I also found the exact solar panel online (after the install) from a reseller for slightly less than the GB price.

No regrets either way, Cascadia is a pretty good company and I’ve had no issues with the panel.

I thought about doing that so many times too, but technically my truck is worth $23K - $25K in today's stupid market. I plan on running it into the ground, but it just keeps sounding silly in my head to treat this $25K machine with the usual "breakr007" janky treatment like I do with everything else. "Trail stripes" along the body side, dings, minor scratches, even plastidip on the wheels all are acceptable. But for some reason, spray painting the roof and hood doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Also, the peeling has spread to the sills surrounding the roof, so some amount of blending would be needed as well.

That said, I've seen some pretty good work done by others, but I'm just not skilled like that.

BakFlip 2 installed in 2014. Lots of use and abuse and overall am happy with how it's held up.

I understand that, Mines got 295K on it with its fair share of chips, dings, dents and pin stripes. So im not too worried about keeping it classy lol but do want it to at least look presentable.

    Yeah… where to start?
Been a season of upgrades, a lot of stuff that’s meant to be used and not seen though. Rear air locker is in w/ ARB twin, hood struts, entire Icon suspension rebuilt, full skids front to back, Morimoto’s and BD ditches, SCS -38 Ray10’s, just waiting on bumper fab now…

Its not much, but the little 2.7 has gotten me most places I have wanted to go in my 6 years of owning it.
