I forgot to post about the ‘22 Toyota Lonestar Jamboree from a month ago, here’s some pics from the event. Over 700+ Toyota’s were there on Saturday. I only spotted one other SR Tacoma out there, we need more representation next year!

 

Mine has the v6 but would have loved a Manuel transmission

 

That looks nice! I was going with 265/70/17, not sure what rims yet. What have you got suspension wise? It looks pretty level but not lifted

 

Suspension is stock - the shell dropped the back a little, maybe an inch? I might add a leaf at some point if it starts to sag but it is fine for now since I don't tow anything.

The 245/75-16s seem big/substantial enough to me and only weigh 39 lbs. I wanted to stay as light as possible since I have the 2.7-liter. I almost did 215/85-16s (same actual width as the 245/75-16 Destination LE2s that came on it) but they were out of stock.

 

Just got the Quadlock mount installed, definitely an improvement from the magnetic Scosche mount. The Offroam vent mount does prohibit the vent from rotating, but doesn’t block airflow. Definitely worth the price tag.



I also found some neat accessories that work well in the Tacoma’s interior. The dash pad helps from things sliding around. I also found a use for that 3rd cup holder. The integral cup holder expander allows my Yeti 46oz bottle and 14oz coffee cup to stay secure.





I adjusted the configuration of my Desert Does It Mount, to also hold my Yeti 46oz bottle. I installed 2 magnets on either side, for either a weapon, tools, etc…

 

finally got around to polishing out the massive amounts of swirls from the previous owner. Not sure why I waited so long.

 

Im trying to decide if I like the early style SR5 dark alloy wheels or the new V style SR5 wheels for my winter tires. More pics please.

I've ordered it last 2 weeks but somehow the package got lost so I've already requested for a refund. As of now the last update was it was still in New Castle, DE.

Well I'm in no rush to buy it. I'll just wait for update.

 

Would anyone here know what color touch-up paint would be a near perfect match for these wheels. They are dark gray from a 2017 SR5.I bought them used for winter tires and they have a few chips.

Lift and tires are coming up but first, National Parks tour this month!
