very tempting haha. Even outside of trail use theyre cool to play with. I forget what it was but we had one at the fab shop I spent my summer in 10+ years ago

honestly if you pack a few 6011(? open for debate there) rods and a set of jumper cables you can probably get off the trail in most difficult failure scenaros

 

I'd opt for 7018 for a few reasons - it's strong, doesn't penetrate too much (considering most car parts are pretty thin), it works well for overhead (in case you need to weld something while on your back), and is a fast-fill so you can quickly and easily fill with weld metal to join parts together.

Ordered a new steering shaft from UAE Wednesday evening. Shipped today. Will arrive on Wednesday.

 

If yours still adjust and aren't bent you're good. Often times they're seized if they're not lubricated every time you adjust them

Yeah I hate that, they just toe it if it's half ass close. After doing my own alignment on a rack last time, I have new appreciation for the art

 

yeah my last alignment from big-o was a toe and go. That's kind of why I gave up and just rotate my tires every 400 mi when I break something
