Oh no not good. I just installed them today with some 5100's on my wife's rig.

bushings are in the mail. So probably another week until I can install them.

 

I finally had time to install At the Helm bed stiffeners.

 

Nice. Wasn't a bad install. My shocks were rusted had to cut the top off with my angle grinder but other that that was really easy install. My rear end is about 40" from the ground to the bottom of the fender. Should settle out eventually though.

 

I have an Icon AAL 1.5” on the stock leafs but it’s sagged. It’s about 38” with 285/75r16.

I want to get back around 40”. So I can raise the front end another 1.5” higher.

 

Great, I have 6112s but need to swap to 650lb springs. Can you tell me what spring compressor tool you are using in the photo and how well it worked? I may have to adjust the clips and I don’t want to have to go back and forth to a shop, or pay $100 to make the spring swap and another $100 if I need to adjust the clips.

Few quick mods of the day:
Finished my interior black out with the TVD glovebox lock decal in matte black.
Can’t say enough about Rich’s customer service at TVD.


Next, replaced the Cabin Air filter with a K&N. It’s model #VF 2005 for those who need that info.


Then changed the Start up and display off screen. Goes well with the my black truck, just like Marty McFly.

finished up some little cosmetic things on a pretty nice day.

 

Took it sailing today.

 

Get the OME Dakars man. Can't go wrong. I want it to settle a little. The front is at 39" and the back is 40". Not a huge deal but my OCD kicks in

 

Looks like i did the popular mod of the day and installed some seat jackers from Desert Does It. Easy install and perfect chance to clean out those small things that fall under your seat. Also installed some VLED footwell lights, still to light out to take a pick.

 

I already have them. I just was a bone head and forgot to order the bushings with it. Wheeler bushings are on the way though.

 

Oh duh. That's right. Must be 2 days of working on it has my brain fried lmao

 

Did my first DIY oil change on this truck so I could work toward saving some money on these in the future. Got a box of Havoline, the same as the mechanic down the street, for $22 at Walmart. Installed a fumoto valve and even got to use it because apparently 6qt is too much oil so I had to empty some out already. The screw-in funnel was just amazing. The filter drain tool was absolutely brilliant. A totally worth it set up made everything pretty mess free. I look forward to the next one in a year now that everything is set up correctly and draining will be a breeze.
