    Let’s see where to start.
-Max rider weight is 99lbs (no clue what the crf50 handles but adults ride them all the time)
-top speed is 20mph (crf50 top speed is 40mph)
-battery only lasts 2hrs Max. Extra battery is $1000
    -price is $2,950 (crf50 is $1,649)
Now the KTM SX-E 5 On the other hand is a proper kids electric motorcycle but it’s over $5k

Revzilla is really letting me down. I ordered an open box windshield mount for my 1250R and received what I already had, the instrument panel cover without provisions for a windshield. I assumed someone had pulled a fast one on them and returned their stock part and gotten away with a freebie. Revzilla customer service was cool and sent me out the proper replacement and a return label. Unfortunately the proper replacement arrived today and is the same stock cover without windshield mounts.

Just put on another 145mi on the bike today. My damn tendinitis in my right elbow is killing me tho. This bike is so much fun.

the recommended weight limit on the crf50 is like 88lbs...
2 hours of ride time is way more than people realize
20mph for a backyard bike is not terrible, to get 40mph out of a 50 you need to be going dead straight for a few hundred feet at least

I actualy dont see a 1k battery as that bad. considering what it takes to build a little engine, a plug and play option is really convenient

price is not cheap, but nothing fun is cheap, the ktm is a big step up from this, all the guys at the dealer 250Lbs + raved about riding it around the yard and local trails

The swappable battery is a big deal, IMHO. Hopefully that gets us closer to a full size product with swappable/removeable batteries. I know a few manufacturers signed onto an agreement on a common battery format a few years ago, but haven't seen anything really come of it.

I used to have an FZ6, but sold it a few years back. I’m in the market for another bike, so I’ve just been lurking on the thread for some bike porn

Decided to do a 1000 mile ride tomorrow, going to start and finish at my house in Colorado and hit Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico along the way. Would've been nice to have the new windshield mounted but oh well.

No, don't have anything that can do that. The bike will track the route unless the BMW app fails like it has been since I got an iPhone and I will track it with the Rever app as well.

Do you have REVER Pro? Their LiveRIDE part of the app lets you share a link to a live map of your location. Go to profile in the bottom right corner, then under your name is the liveride icon that'll take you to the settings. I've never tried it, but I know it's a thing it'll do.
