how does anybody feel about the way the oil filter is designed? do you wish it was a metal spin on type like most vehicles?

I kinda like the design and ease of installation of the new style. The MotivX kit with the drain tube works well.

Love my Retrax. Hope you love it too.

For the future (esp if shady dealer trying to save/squander/steal a buck skimped on the drain installation) <--- cynic in me (also alliteration)

Finally got around to installing more parts now that my suspension is done.
Installed the diff drop and installed the full set of RCI skids.
    Also got the cat guards.

That's awesome. This is what I what I would consider if I was considering doing my own oil changes.

Did you opt for the "hyper flash" load resistors?

I did not. No issues with hyper flashing unless I’m in reverse with a turn signal on.

Didn’t know the resistors were an option until I got the box.

The rears are Kicker 46CSC674 - 6 3/4 2-way speakers. Not sure if they made much difference, if any at all. I'm sure they're fine speakers but with the stock HU, I don't think they're being utilized to their full potential.
The fronts definitely made an improvement with clarity and also overall volume. I went with Alpine R-S69.2 6x9 2-ways.
