165k. Engine with 3 moving parts runs about the same as one with 30k

At least 30k of it spent getting to work including snow, Rocky Mountain pass off road trail wheeling

That's pretty amazing! I just got a 2007 2.7L 5MT - 146k miles, love the truck. Mine has the stock steel wheels, someday I'd like to get nice ones like yours. You've got a very desirable (I think) truck, even if it didn't have the low miles being a 2.7L 4WD Access Cab and especially 5MT.

When I took it in to Parker Toyota, our local dealer, the Diagnostic Technician told me when I walked back from the lounge that he had to look several times to be sure he had the correct odometer reading. He remarked that it's rare to see these clean older vehicles, but he admitted that they're out there. Dennis Collins, Collins Brothers Jeep in Texas put up their collection of restored Jeeps for sale at auction earlier this year, and one was being auctioned (I think it was a 1984) that had never received the dealer prep, never titled and only had the factory release document. The plastic protection covering the interior had never been removed. Only the mileage on the odometer since it had been rolled off the assembly line for transport to that original dealership. Wow!

2010 just hit 145k last week. Just replaced the rear drums after they were getting very low, not bad. While I was at it, I upgraded the front rotors and pads and installed Stainless steel brake lines. So responsive now.

One of our customers just bought a 1997 F250 7.3 Diesel M/T 4x4 with 7000 original miles, apart from a few minor cracks in the vinyl dash it looks brand new inside and out.

I found this set of four wheels with centers on eBay Motors from Salt Lake City, where the seller gets factory takeoffs, and it's not much of a stretch to think about Moab and other desert off road possibilities, so 16x7J wheels are likely soon exchanged for larger wheels and tires. I found a single wheel from a 2018, so that fifth became the new spare under the bed, after driving to Kalispell, Montana for the NHOU protection frame treatment during spring break the end of March. With OEM black lug nuts and aftermarket TPMS sensors, the set of four complete was a bit under $800.
The stock wheels and centers (I noticed one hub center missing and fortunately the dealer had one in stock, $89 ouch!) are in storage (Some on TW look for those to restore their Gen 2 back to stock later...).

Under $1,000 isn't bad for those. If/when I'm ready, maybe that's what I should do - consider factory takeoffs or trade ins, if there is such a thing.
