For sure, it's just that I've already started swapping options and I gotta get everything dialed in before a road trip in a few weeks. Lotta moving pieces. I'll see how option 2 fares but will still get some replacement hardware lined up.

why is it we always wait until it's: "got a road trip in a week and I gotta get this done now!!!"??
I suffer from the same syndrome, thankfully not this time tho!

I've been putting this off for months. A few weeks ago is when I realized it was squatting hard. The trip just forced me to get my butt in gear but boy do I feel you. Could leisurely taken my time over a weekend, had everything all lined up, but nooOOOOooo, I had to procrastinate!

got it. so not much weight. do you have hub to fender measurements?

I set the springs up on option 2 over the weekend. Im having them installed this week. i figure its no big deal to add a leaf to it when the smart cap arrives

No I don't on hand, it sits level as far as I can tell and rides smooth, doesn't bounce around

Just wanted to post up. This past weekend I did over 400mi with an empty Taco on the Option 1 packs. Never a single jittery moment.

Option 3 for me has been working great! Have developed some squeaking though. Gonna try injecting with a needle tip some Camburg Super Bushing Grease at the bushing (if possible) and some lucas red & tacky between the leafs with the needle. Dont have the set up to dismantle the pack at this time.

I was looking at getting the RXT leafs for my truck but im confused on what length rear shocks to get. I was looking at the icon 2.0 1.5-3 inch lift option or fox 2.0 2-3 inch lift option. Would probably be running option 2 on leafs and I have about 200 lbs constant weight in the rear.

In My post above, my truck is option 3 with the icon 2.0 1.5-3 extended version.
edited to add i probably have at least 200lb constant weight with steel gas skid the tonneau cover bed mat and a few other items.

I thought about 2-3” shocks. But these springs flex so we’ll I ended up putting Fox 3.5-5” shocks(985-24-118). They won’t bottom out since I have taller bump stops. But they droop and flex so well

How much lift did you get approximately? And hows the ride quality? I may be more towards 300 in the rear. I have a bed cap, sliders, bed mat, and a heavy shelf i built in the bed. Probably gonna add the prinsu rack for my cap in the future. I was thinking option 2 but maybe ill go with 3.

I didn't do pre lift measurements but going off some stock height numbers I found on TW it appears I got roughly 2.75" all around. With everything you have and are planning Id probably go option 3. The ride quality has been great. Ive been happy with them. Much better than stock. No regrets on my end as I was initially debating option 2 but figured I could always take out a leaf later if I needed to. Also I realized I most likely would be adding more weight in the future not less. I also added the Timbren bump stops with u bolt flip kit.
