How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Thanks @Rod03 Could that mean it got built (originally scheduled 5/30) and is switching to a permanent VIN? or could it be related to a delay? Would that make the VIN disappear? I’ve seen talk of delays for builds with the tech package (which mine has)…

So, y’all experienced guys help me out here. My temp vin stopped working 2 days ago. I finally get ahold of my salesperson and they claim not to know how to look up the Vin. Calls me from managers office and he says built 5/31 scheduled to be here 6/15 no permanent vin yet. This seems like BS to me. Am I just a cynic? Or is he pissing on my head and telling me it’s raining?

 

Exactly what the others said above^^^. Go to your dealers website and there's a good chance your truck will be listed with the new VIN. It will be your exact spec and price as before.

‘22 TRD OR 4x4 MT CSM no Premium package, no Tech package, LED headlights and foglights. There is no time line really, I found out about this truck through a sales person at a local dealership about a week ago and have been following it since, was due the 10th but it came early

Same! I'm guessing a week 24 will actually be built in week 25-26, based on others' timelines. I am hoping that I can take delivery close to my bday at the end of July - but it really does seem like a hope & a prayer. LOL At least I'm finally in the system. If I'm lucky, I can start driving my truck before the '23s hit the lot.

Well Wednesday June 8th is the date my truck will be built, I assume I'll wait till Friday June 10th and ask the dealer for the Vin#

 

I was at dealer yesterday they said they will be building 2022s on all Toyotas thru December.

 

Hi, what was your scheduled build date per your temp VIN? I have a week 19 limited I am also waiting on, with my scheduled build date 06/07.

 

Rod, my dealer sent me this picture showing it was built on 5/24 with (NO HOLD) and the Toyota Tracker app now shows it in the (F) status...the Toyota app shows doors were opened atleast 4 different times last week and is now showing 2 miles on the odometer.Can you look up my Vin# and tell me the estimated delivery time please.

Being delivered to Bristol Toyota in Tennessee..going to have to drive about 4 hours to pick it up.

Thank you for taking the time to do this for us,you are a great help with being able to give us info that we cannot attain ourselves.

 

Mine was going to be 5/31 but was done on 5/28 according to @Rod03 .
