    Your friend could be on to something though...there is someone else in the running for the job as well and they are stringing you along. Pretty crappy if that's what is really going on...

    just keep waiting....

    not at this point, I kinda put all my eggs in this basket. my lease runs out at the end of Feb, and I already turned in my two weeks at my current job, so regardless I'm moving to MD in march. I've saved enough to get by for a while, so if this for some reason doesn't work out, I'll just have to get by on some odd jobs. I didn't figure it would be too hard for me to find a job, considering biomed is a highly specialized field. but, I'll be right outside of DC so there should be plenty of opportunities:)
