    Looks like a forest order went into effect on May 27th but doesn't apply to Bowman Campground. I don't think there is a gate, and there is no fee so you can still camp there even if it is closed.

    To provide for public safety due to hazardous trees that pose a significant risk, this Forest Order prohibits being on or within several developed recreation sites, dispersed recreation sites, and Forest roads.

    5N01 is open to Eagle Meadows horse camp.

    All roads inside 5N01/Niagara Rim Trail are clear.

    All roads South of 5N01 up to NRT trail head are clear.


    5N01 past Eagle Meadow is still closed due to snow on the road. The Rangers said thay are going to try and open it the rest of the way next weekend.

    I'd need an entire day off for something like that though. Would need to come back home and feed the pups as Friday is my wife's last day of work before she goes back to teach summer school.
