Great tune OTT! Just passed 2k miles so it should be fairly settled. The improved shifting is the star of this tune. Previously ran KD Pro and re-geared to Nitro 4.88's 2 months ago.

I knew I would need an update to my tune post re-gear and after reading up on OTT7.0, I decided to give it a try.

The KD is a great tune but on stock gears it felt like it held 4th when accelerating just a little too long before going into O/D.

After the re-gear the truck was shifting so quickly on acceleration I would end up in 5th, sometimes 6th at 40mph.

My tuner recommended I go with mild to medium throttle. Very smooth under normal acceleration with shifts occurring between 2.5k and 3.5k when entering the highway, or taking off from a dead stop. Prior to OTT with 4.88's it would barely make it to 2k before shifting to the next gear.

I wasn't looking for fast, but I tried a few WOT pulls from a stop and rolling 40 up to 80. I noticed the downshift is seamless compared to before when there would be a small delay, downshift, lurch, then accelerate. I also noticed that I went into the red (above 6.2k rpm) when stomping on the throttle (definitely never seen that before :) ).

Normal driving on the highway it lives in 6th gear (2,100 rpm at 70mph) and can pass and take grades without downshifting. Between the gears and this tune the hunting is long gone and won't be missed.

4lo with gears and tune crawls by just letting off of the brake. I do like that hitting the ECT button adds a little more punch to the throttle and find myself using it often.

No change in MPG ~18/19. Manually calculated 18.2 on first full premium tank (about the same as I was getting on KD Pro). I am sure I could do better by driving easier, but where's the fun in that?

Very glad I decided to try this and it is very obvious a lot of time and care was put into making this a refined tune focusing on what these trucks needs most (power in the 2k - 4k band and shifting). Well done OTT!

@PNWTacoma Paul's tuning capabilities are amazing! What a super nice guy!
I first started out last year with the KDMax tune just shortly after I purchased my 2021 Sport. That added some power. Then I upgraded to the KDMax PRO. That took things up another notch. Recently, Paul tuned me up to the OTT lite and then a few weeks later went to the medium. All four tunes Paul has done to my truck have progressively gotten more and more impressive! The most recent, OTT Medium is incredible! TONS of torque, zero gear searching, smooth power and shifting just when I need it. Accelerating to get onto the freeway or getting around traffic is very empowering now. I feel like I have all the power I could ever need. I look forward to actually trying this tune while towing something. Climbing hills is a breeze now. And I have actually seen some minor improvements in MPG. I look forward to see what comes out next but its going to be hard to beat this tune!

I am averaging 22.6 traveling 70-75 on the interstate on my 120 round trip each day with 87 octane. I am light though, all stock. If I take the 4 lane and drop down to an average of 60+- I can easily get over 23 mpg. This is 7.0 from April, sounds like there could be an update available?

Well your numbers make sense since your stock and at higher mph then I . I have many hills in my commute that I have to roll over . Depending on which direction Im heading . To work I feel like I have more uphills and home is a mix of uphill and down hill with few steep grades to and from work . I'm trying 60mph max on a full tank to see some legit numbers . I hand calc and use the fuelly app
