TBH if I had the store situation like you do I would find a beater Gen2 or 3 and put the RMR on it

The value should only matter if you plan on selling it or are otherwise keeping it as an investment. If you plan on keeping it, make it your own however you see fit.

True but it’s the only one you have. So I would leave it as is if it was me.
Grab a G45 already cut and put the RMR on it

I'm saying buy a gen 3 that's already cut or find a beat 3 and get that one milled

I'm not buying a new pistol just to host an RMR

I just wanted to know if it was a terrible idea to cut a Gen 2

They're not as collectible as Gen 1 but they're getting a little more harder to find

I'll just keep both in the safe if I ever need a back up RMR or decide to do something with my 19

How do you like the Talon Pro? I've been debating on picking them up for my 43x/48. Not a fan of the rubberized type

Great balance between comfort and grip. I will buy it again if I get another Glock.

Lol, gotta be to find the deals. 5 mins ago just bought a Geissele ACH in DDC for $67 shipped to go with an upper I have headed my way that I had shipped to the guy on GAFS that does free pin & welds. The upper however did not come from GAFS but from ARF. Just did a trade on GAFS last night too. You gotta search all the places to find the best deals. Trying to get my flair up haha

Have you ran the magazine yet? Noticed any issues compared to the stock glock mag?

I picked up a 43X a few days ago and am tempted to snag the shield mag.
