Taking an invigorating walk in the center of New Milford & came upon a red fox on the sidewalk. I bluffed him with three quick forward steps & he dashed up onto a church lawn & assumed a position alongside a tree.
That & the fact that it was 9 PM told me he wasn't rabid. I continued my walk & he booked off in the other direction. Always have my Buck knife but going forward I may be wielding a stick.

Happy birthday @MikefromCT & many more. Was up your way a couple of weeks ago & did the Farmington River trail. Mallards with little ducklings on the reservoir. Wouldn't do that walk after sunset. I could deal with a fox but those Canton bears.

    Good Saturday morning CT.
I have all the stuff to give my truck a bath today.

I also put in my two weeks notice at the end of the day yesterday.

Get out there and enjoy it.

Washed the truck and ran some clay over the roof, tailgate and driver's bedside. I may do the rest of the truck tomorrow but I need some sunblock first. My arms are pink from being in the sun all day.
I washed my friends car seeing how she let me use her driveway and water.

I also did the "TOYOTA" thing.

Thank you guys! Had a great time bringing the wife and kids camping for the first time. We picked somewhere close and easy; Lake Compounce. Everyone did great camping and we all went to the park for a bit. Unfortunately Michael was a couple inches shy of being able to go on any rides but we had a great time at the wave pool and checking everything out.

@Red Alert we have a family of fox that come back to a den in our backyard every summer. They seem to disappear in the fall but are here every summer, baby foxes and all. I have been here about 6 years and have only seen a bear in my yard a handful of times. But I am more alert walking around up here than I was before. What reservoir did you check out?

Ebc rotors and pads kit. Slotted with yellow pads is a great. I just did rotor, pads, drums, and SS brake lines. The rotors take a little longer than others to break in. I first changed the rotors to EBC non-slotted 4 years ago and only went through 2 sets of pads. 1x EBC green stuff and 1x TRD pads. Now I am upgrading them to the slotted since they have shown their life fighting CT hills. The setup is spot on, no more mushy Toyo brakes. Touch the pedal and feel friction now.

Edit: EBC green stuff pads release so much brake dust it's crazy. Stay away from them lol. Yellow is best.

Hell of a day to be stuck at work for a few hours. But it's tough to not enjoy the view when sitting outside for lunch at work. Hopefully no actual "work" for me, I'm just here to supervise a monitor wall install in one of the studios.

The one by Bridge Street Live with the short boardwalk across from the used car lot. Parked in that lot right by the trail; that's where I always parked going to Lasalle. Parked next to a Taco OR & hadn't even disembarked from my truck when another OR pulled in. Also saw six 4Runners in the space of a couple of hours. Had to go to Hartford; whenever I do, weather permitting, I stop in C'ville for a little hike on the way home. Unfortunately Lasalle was closed or I would've stopped in for a bite.

I home going through all of my detail stuff, so I can better organize it and wash the towels/cloths I used.

I get a call from an airsoft game organizer that I've known for some time and he needs to borrow one of my airsoft shotguns for a movie.
I stopped going through my detail stuff and now I'm converting my tactical shotgun into a standard 870. It's always something.

But hey, I'll get my name in the credits.

Happy Monday CT. Almost the weekend. ;)

I hope to get the clay bar from Amazon early enough. I'll be checking my phone all day to see when it will arrive. I'll have to stop at a couple more stores to see if I can get one locally.
AutoZone, Advanced Auto, O'Reilly had nothing. PepBoys has nothing because they are "reorganizing". Anybody know anything about that?

I'll try NAPA and a couple hardware stores that have small automotive detail sections. There is also a performance shop by my house that has detail supplies. Maybe Walmart?

See my post above. I was talking to the person that works next to me and he said "Do you know that there is a Chemical Guys in Orange?". I had no idea so I looked it up at work and was surprised.
I might go there Saturday to pick up some more clay. I was going to stop by Walmart after work until he mentioned the place in Orange.

    Good morning CT.
Came home from work yesterday and used a little more clay on the lower part of my doors and fenders.
At the very bottom (where the rock guard is) it's very dirty. I'm going back to my friends house and use a degreaser and a stiff brush to clean the area, then normal car soap, then clay bar and wax.

Not sure if I mentioned this but I put in my two weeks notice and I will be a Lexus tech again very soon.
