You have new born, so its to be expected.... How are your dogs adjusting?

I might bring my quad depending if anyone else is bringing theres. Are you planning on bringing yours?

Sounds like you have been busy. I completly understand about school, Im to ADD to sit down and read. Hopefully that isn't going to bite me in the ass when I get me grades for my last class.
My blower motor has been noisy since the day I got it. But mine only is noisy on the first and second setting, still annoying as hell though. I've heard of people just getting a replacement motor from autozone and putting it in. I'm not sure how well it works, but its a cheaper alternative than getting a OEM blower.

I dont personally have one, but I may borrow one from a friend. Raptor 660, just depends.

Cause if its gonna be too bad out, id rather not bring the truck thru that stuff. And just ride the quad.

I would have like to bring my dirt bike but its not wanting to start. Gonna have to use the quad. Plus with as rough as the terrain is, I'm not too confident yet on the bike.... in time though.

I hope the seasonal ice cream place opens soon. I am jonesin' really bad for a vanilla malt with 2 extra shots of malt.

I also installed my URD short throw yesterday. It's fantastic, the throws are now similar to the ones on my wife's kia.

I also started the fog light install but the lights are 4.5" instead of 4". The nice thing is that the lights fill the factory holes snuggly, but now i am going to have to find a way to mount them that the instructions didn't cover. still can't beat the price for them though. i'll post pics after i get them in.

what are you gonna do with the stock lights? you could move them to just inside the lower gap on the front bumper or use them in the back for additional backup lighting.

Glad to hear things are working out good. Good to have dogs you can trust around babys.

Went down to the farm and shot a couple of pictures. The driveway was a mess. Had to lock her in 4x4 to get up to the house. I didn't even try and go down to the pond as my truck was the only vehical there. Here are some pictures of my truck and the dogs. They love the cap. Its so nice, they were both covered in mud. No more dog hair in my truck :woot:

Its has more mud on it that it looks.

Layla decided she was going to try and play with the horses. They must have looked alot smaller in the distance. She took off towards them and got about 20 feet away and did a dead stop. Turned around and looked at me, and took off in the opposite direction.

I am sooo looking forward to heading down there. Neil would you mind if I invited my brother-in-law? He bought a Tundra (the older body style) off of Ebay about a year ago.

awesome! glad they like the cap. More room for them to move around too! Have you noticed a little bit of an increase in mpg? I remember when I put a cap on my p/u I got about 2 mpgs better.

My aunt has a farm with 5-6 horses and my dogs run around the horses. only took one time for the Westie to get slugged by a horse hoof for her to understand... hmm... maybe I should keep my distance. lol

Yeah, thats no problem. If its this muddy when we go down in a few weeks we might have to limit our driving to certain places. I really tore up the driveway getting up to the house, and I really dont want to make it any worst. I've never seen it this muddy, even in 4x4 I was spinning all the way up.

The cap is a def. plus. Keeping all the mud/hair in the bed is so much nicer. That and Layla tries to sit on my lap while I'm driving. Honestly I have seen a decrease in mpg, but I think it has something to do with the bigger tires not the cap. I'm still happy w/ the cap/tires. Truck really looks great w/ the 2.

This blower motor is that the chirping or tinging sound when you turn on your fan for the heater or a/c? Mine is drivine me nuts and just wanted to know if this is the same thing?

I was driving home today and went by Kerry Toyota on 42. They have a silver short bed with a truck cap on it. I know a few people were looking for one just thought I would throw that out there.

Yeah the blower motor is what makes the chirping noise. Its gets a little annoying when the radio isn't on. I know some are louder than others.

Matt, if you can deal with you blower noise for a just a little longer, I can dig into it and more than likely get them nice and quieted down at the meet.

If yours is making noise Neil, I'll do yours also.

i don't even have stock lights in the bumper. i may toss these into the lower gap on the front bumper if i can't find a way to mount them that i like. i am not going to give up yet, i think if i take my time and stay open minded i can find a way to mount them where i want.

Honestly I am usually pretty busy during the weekend and not on much and yesterday I had a bunch of stuff to do once I got home to get ready for V-Day.

Yes I agree, I cannot tell you how nice it was to just sit at my farm on Sunday. Just being outside for a change was great. The dogs enjoyed it as well. I just hope that it can dry up a little before our next meet. If it doesn't Its going to be super muddy limiting us to the driveway and a few other places.

Any luck finding a cap yet?

usually i love winter but this year i am ready for spring.

nope, the search continues. either the color isn't right or the person wants something outrageous. i'm not going to pay some of the prices that they have been asking for when i can spend a little more and get a warranty. there is one guy near indy that i have been talking with. speaking of that i need to follow up...

That doesn't surprise me, it took me 6 months of looking. I went thru the same thing you are. It wasn't the right color, wrong size, wanted way to much, or was too far away. Keep looking you'll find one.
