How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Mine disappeared ..once it was built...had to call salesman to get realVin#

 

Thanks, that's good to know. Need to get ahold of my salesman. I put the temp VIN into the Toyota app a few weeks ago when I put the deposit down. It's still working on the app fine, and I haven't gotten any notifications about the truck being turned on or anything, like other folks said they got after their trucks were built... Guess that's part of why I'm confused about the VIN not working on Toyota Tracker anymore. Did you use the app at all during your waiting?

 

TRD OR DCSB in LR... with chrome rear bumper (no tech)... if that's sporting a 6mt that could be me LOL.

 

Thats funny cause the truck I'm waiting on is a TRD Off Road MT in Army Green that was allocated to my dealer back at the beginning of May.

Got a call from the dealer today......at long last, I have a build date and a temp VIN.

Ordered and deposit August 31, 2021.
Build date July 7.

The periodic rumors about no more manual transmissions are not true.

I have one coming through GST. Week 22 build according to the temp VIN. My salesman told me the system would be down from last Wednesday until tomorrow. Hoping for a permanent VIN in the morning.

 

Same - build date Jun 13 - TRD Pro MT - requested Nov 21 - your wait has been longer than mine for sure!

Hoping my patience pays off as well. My deposit was put down for a Pro MT in January 22.

 

Took delivery today. First things first…

 

A local dealership just called me that they have a lunar rock TRD sport with 2k markup and 2k in accessories (42k + ttnl) coming at the end of the month. They also require a non refundable deposit which I’m not a fan of. My white TRD sport with no markup and 1500 in accessories (39.5k + ttnl) is in QC until the end of the month.

Now I’m not sure what to do. Go with my preferred color with markup, or wait out the QC hold.

 

Has anyone learned the reason for this double cab automatic QC hold? Is it effecting cars that were shipped after late May?

 

Well I finally got my allocation here in GDL, temp VIN 3TYCZ5AN8NT25A237. I'm at 13 weeks since I put down a deposit, and if it comes mid-late July I'll be at 18-20 weeks total wait time. It's a metallic gray 4x4 special edition. Nothing showing on v-spec yet but maybe I'm doing it wrong, anybody wanna give the VIN a try for me?

I ended up going to another dealer and put a deposit down there as well, and told both dealers I would take either the regular or special edition 4x4 in any color but black or red, haha.
