I was thinking about one of those portable tent carports but then I don't want to have to fish it out of the lake on a windy day

Is there a quick and easy way to grease the front leaf spring bushings? One side of my truck developed a hell of a squeak recently and it sounds like its coming from the front of the leaf.

This just needs to be a temporary solution to cut down the squeak for like 10 days because late next week I'm getting Alcan's installed.

I've been thinking about it off and on and I like it quite a bit. My thinking is that with what I remember from the shows I can't come up with anything to refute it... Plus it's really fascinating to consider it a dramatization of how environment affects classes disproportionately, those who have money have far greater comfort in any circumstances.

greaseable bolts...otherwise to get grease in there you're gonna have to remove them and do it by hand.

I know a lot of people do it even though you're 'supposed' to use silicone based grease...problem with silicone grease and grease guns/zerks is that shit does not want to go through them, tacky AF. The Energy suspension and Daystar stuff is like tar

yeah, plus I always have red n tacky in the grease gun and I'm not inclined to change it out when its such a mess lol

not sure if the last tube I got was a bum or what but it's separating and dripping red oil out of the grease gun :(

Haha thats been my strategy so far. Its honestly wild how loud it got in the last few days. Everything from braking to the tiniest shift in weight side to side and its chirping it me.

I do love anything in the sprayable format...

I like Dry Lubricant for spray stuff...it's not all goey like spray silicone or spray lithium grease, that stuff works but man it makes a mess and dirt sticks to it like crazy

dry lubricant won't last as long but it won't attract dirt and make squeaks worse over time

but really for poly bushings you have to get the grease "in there" and the spray probably won't help much if at all.
