I’d love to get my hands on the new S&w m&p 10mm handgun. Unfortunately no gun shops have any around me.

Hell yeah! I won’t lie I really want one just for the mag capacity. My buddy might be picking one up today if Keith’s has one in stock.

I’m gonna go along for moral support and to buy more magazines.

except the quad stack keltetec mags are notoriously finicky/difficult to load and unreliable.

hopefully it is better than the 'hot pile of crap' that was the last .22 with Sig on it......

14 round .22, as 'gangster as I get. A well worn Kimber conversion a'top a dedicated alloy frame. Swapped out the sights for some Champions.

Have seen those 33rd mags in person. It was the worst feeding gun I've ever seen. It looks like the system has the feed ramp in the mag and it just isn't a sane design. Advice on the internet for not having issues 'Carefully and slowly load your mag', 'don't tap the mag home slide it in gently because things can move out of alignment if you tap the bottom of the mag'. I love the idea and the new design concepts but the keltec mags with the feedramp built in aren't done well. (Edit for clarity: I only experienced the CP33 pistol for two range days)

Yeah my buddy was considering one of the keltecs to throw a pistol brace and red dot on but I talked some sense into him an he picked up a Ruger 22 Charger this weekend instead.

From what I've read the new Sig is a whole different animal from their last one and much better quality. Most reviews I've seen mention they were skeptical starting out since the last Sig 22 was such a piece of garbage but in the end most were thrilled with the new one.

Well that's disappointing to hear, I have never actually shot one but always liked the idea. I had even thought about trying to get a couple mags while I still can and then buy the gun later but probably too late at this point anyway.

Are rimfire magazines included in the Washington mag capacity ban?

The proposed federal ban exempts rimfire magazines. I took the Ruger BX-25 mags out of my shopping cart and got an extra MP5 mag instead once I read the proposed bill and realized the rimfire exemption.

My buddy had one that he really liked. I shot it a few times and it ran fine. I'm thinking about grabbing one before its too late.

Interesting question. I wonder how firearms with an internal capacity over 10 will be handled. I haven't seen anything about that yet. Might be time to get the KSG I've been not-seriously considering

Yep, the only exception is "a 22 caliber tube ammunition feeding device or tubular magazine contained in a lever-action firearm" which good luck finding a lever-action that holds over 10rds in the first place.

Edit: Didn't see that Sam beat me on that one.

12 mini-shells per tube, 2 tubes. :D Or I guess 6 regular shells, but that's not as fun.

Not sure if I’ve posted before. But I got my scope mounted to my AR10 build. (308) aero precision upper/lower. Need to get it boresighted then it’s range time. Plus a solid bipod.
