My wife rear-ended an SUV that was turning left near our home. Insurance totaled both vehicles, and today the salvage yard towed my Tacoma away after eleven years of faithful service.

Looks to be similar damage to what many of us have had. There's aprons available that are an upgrade.

Never let other's drive your rigs.

It's not a matter of trust, it's a matter of minimizing the opportunities for failure.

No cell phones were involved and no one was hurt, which is all that really matters. Insurance paid out more to both parties than they paid for their vehicles, which was nice. We replaced this 2008 PreRunner TRD Off Road @133,660 miles with a 2004 4x4 TRD Off Road @154,100 miles. Both extended cabs.

I’m looking forward to the 4x4 action on our property, but would rather have repaired the ‘08. Insurance said otherwise. I’m not looking forward to the inevitable bump in our insurance rates but have to say the Amica has been very pleasant to deal with throughout the claims process.
