I'd be curious to see what the carfax shows on this truck i.e. if it mentions the damage.
It's a hard configuration to find, even around my parts. Still, price would be too high for me to consider, even if it had a super clean, no damage life.

I see that that A.C. knobs are cracked.

I didn't even notice that! However, the same thing happened to one of my knobs shortly before the frame was replaced; I bought one on Amazon...

It would have been more usefull if Toyota put a little toster in that slot, it could have been used to heat up eggo waffles.

I have never changed the headunit on my RC, but I can't recall ever playing a CD in there.

Yes, but you also have a 2012, so you've got an AUX input; Did 2012 come standard with a USB port?!?! I forget...

I know it only has 40K miles, but damn, $22K! I picked up my 2014 Access Cab TRD Sport 4wd with 112K for 21K back in April....

One of my favorite pastimes since I got my driver's license back in 2011 has been to explore car dealerships on Sundays, because in Pennsylvania they are forbidden by law from opening on Sundays, and in New Jersey where I was yesterday they are also closed; Dealership backlots have never disappointed me, and Toyota dealers are not different. I've found all sorts of cool Toyota and Lexus vehicles in the backs of various dealerships, including an old Dolphin camper, a 1st Gen Prius, an early 1990s MR2, at least one customized FJ Cruiser, and numerous Tacos and Tundras that were unique in some way; There were three later model 2nd Gen Tacos at Fred Beans, all of which I'm pretty sure were there for frame replacements. This lifted 2012 DCSB V6 looks similar to a Hilux one might find in the Middle East...

    Automatic.

Clean frame too, so that is a plus.

2013 AC SR5; The wheels color-matched to the paint color are a nice touch in my opinion...

2015 DCSB TRD Sport; I did not look underneath any of these customer trucks, but if you look closely, you can see that the frame of this one looks pretty rough. There were several rusted out frames stacked on one side of the lot, and two new frames sitting outside the entrance to the service center, so I'm thinking this truck is a recipient for one of the new ones...

If the price was right I would buy a Toyota truck from California in a heartbeat!

The crazy thing is obviously they're overpriced but 1st gen tacos sell for way more than 3rd gen 4runners (same drive train) but the 4runner is superior build

Yeah I thought there was one in there, I'm pretty sure it was standard. I have never used it, the radio is kind of lack luster, but that has never bothered me I have always enjoyed driving the truck as is, if I wanted a sound system I would have gotten a 5spd. Which is arguably the better transmission for that truck. Only options were buckets, rear sliding window door sill protectors and all weather mats. I don't know if the dealer dropped the ball, but my owner's manual didn't even come in one of those little vinly envelope.

My work truck has sync and android auto I'll use it because it's there and it's nice, but honestly. I could live with out it and would never miss it.

Why do I have a feeling that the OP was really annoyed at the site of this Tacoma after an unsuccessful attempt to remove and steal the passenger door?:anonymous:

Your feeling is wrong; My door was replaced by the scrapyard's insurance back in March; A totaled MGM truck donated its door...
