We're going this Friday, meeting at the school house at about 9-915am.

I say we as if I know who's even going

I'll follow up with texts/PMs to establish who will go. Jon is a ninja though as I'll invite him but won't hear back at all only to run into him at the school house the day of

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

SNAP... Friday is probably gunna be a no go here. I just took last Friday off and my Assistant has been not so reliable lately. I'll probably have to pass.

I'm thinking I'm going to need to do some much needed maint on Saturday. I may or may not be a few thousand miles past due on my oil change :anonymous:... which becomes a much bigger deal when you're at 360K+ on the clock lol.

I'm thinking maybe a Sunday drive this week.

I'm busy AF this week and weekend. Sad Blue Canary needs to unplug and get outdoors. I also need to get my stripped drain plug replaced on my front diff. :bananadead:

How tore up was NRT? Anything especially gnarly or mostly downed trees n misplaced boulders? I definitely need some outdoor religion. Soon, friend, soon.

Not making it to Hollister this Friday. Friday should be be "drive to @Kwikvette's neck of the woods to pick up my BFF rear bumper" day.

(Which is why I'm moving all the furniture today and tomorrow, since I won't be able to drive with the tailgate down anymore in the very near future. A curious case of truck stuff preventing you from doing other truck stuff.)

So it'll be a lot like Hollister. Maybe you can bring some old tires and drive over them in the brewery parking lot. Then it would exactly like Hollister. lol

    Oh shit that's right!

My spare is still on a 35; we'll bring that and put a wheel over it and pose in the parking lot :muscleflexing:

    Ok @Blue Canary

We went in on 5N09 to 5N87 and hit NRT about 2 miles towards the end of the trail, from Rock Pile. We then worked the trail back through Rock Pile then through Lions Butt, and then to Sidewall Suicide (going reverse direction).

We didn't do from Sidewall Suicide to the Gate Keeper. A different group did.

That other group's lead truck was a really cool lady. She's a pretty cautious wheeler, I'm 100% that the trail is good to go for us.

There was another group that came in from the end and went through Double Dome etc and caught up with us right before Lion's Butt. 100% sure that part is clear as well.

Trailhead lead truck said hardbrake hill is currently in the best condition she's ever seen it. Because it's still a bit damp (none of the moon dust yet).

It's been raining up there a lot more than down here. It spit on us all day Saturday, RAINED Saturday night, and sprinkled all day Sunday. We were hitting puddles that came up to my hubs with 33s.

I'd say NRT would be a GREAT IDEA right here soon.

I want to go up and come in from the end, work the whole trail backwards to Sidewall Suicide. Dip out there. Camp. Then do the trial from the trailhead.

With F/R lockers, I might be able to do Hardbrake Hill and the Gate Keeper backwards. But without lockers, no chance we make it up Hardbreak Hill.

They were watching a dude try 5 or 6 times last year in a Jeep on 37s, no lockers, he couldn't do it.

Ended up going to ocean cove campground. Not as fun getting there, but safe knowing it will be open.

sucks that so many people just come and drop off their rv trailers on a Monday so that they can come with their family on a weekend.

lots of spots taken with nobody actually there
