    Me too. I had 2 of them, one in the early 2000s had issues with the distributor and one that cought on fire. This one is going to be a rock crawler according to the kid he bought it.

    Mine scalloped horribly within only 10k or 15k miles. Granted, I didn't rotate them or chalk test them. Quick research showed my too much pressure.

    That said, I work with 3 other guys with 1st gens that have the same issue. Not sure if it's pressure related or alignment related. It should also be noted that we all have mud terrains.
