I can't make this Friday either, gotta work. I also need to get a new valve stem after smashing it on some boukders at hollister recently (wouldn't hold air). I need to to get that fixed first so I have a full-sized spare because it'll probably happen again.

I'm considering going to rubber valves on all 5 and ditching TPMS. Anyone done that? Thoughts?

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

With lockers I'm pretty sure it's doable. the top is pretty f'n steep though. It's pretty loose dirt, and the are boulders on both sides, at the top, so you can't just mash on it and bounce all over the place, unless you don't care about hitting one of them.

First one is Hardbrake Hill... pictures never really do justice, but watch how much my truck is sliding at the top.

The second part is coming down Sidewall Suicide.

Let me get home and see what's going on this afternoon.

My thought, right now, is I'm going to try and do some maintenence on Saturday, and then do a day trip on Sunday. I'm thinking about doing some exploring up 5N09X. That road follows the Stanislaus up from the top of Beardsley Reservior to the dam at Donnell Reservior.

I'm thinking the next weekend (6/18-6/19) do Niagara Rim Trail. Maybe go up 6/17 after work, maybe just take 6/17 off and go up, so I can explore back to Bennett Juniper, Long Valley, and Relief Resevior... they should be open by then.

I hate this at the Colorado campgrounds, seems this type of behavior is everywhere if the campground allows it

I don’t think it’s allowed. But it’s definitely not enforced.

    ^ THIS

It isn't allowed, but it's not really enforced. It's especially bad during deer season.

Oh that looks doable. Crawl box and lockers will walk it. I want to do that trial this year, so I’ll have to link up with you at some point later in the summer.

    Right on.

I'll probably do it in a couple weeks. But I'll definately do it at least once or twice more before the snow.

I need to start planning my trips for this year...

Slick Rock is on my list this year. Is it better to go from South to North or North to South?

Reason I ask is my idea is to run Slick Rock from South to North, come out on 4, head down and hit Corral Hollow, and take Bailey Ridge Down to then hit Sourgass. Make a 3 day weekend out of that.

LMAO... Never been to Slick Rock and all I've seen is on YouTube. Didn't know which way is backwards.

I just don't want to do the pussy way (or, more accurate, I want to do it the right way. Not sure if there is a "pussy way" lol). I guess I could go North to South route and then come out and go back up to Corral Hollow.

From what I understand, they changed the end back in 2018 (?) due to a conflict with a property owner or something.
