TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

Pretty sure no. Tundra TRD fuel pump is about 195lph and you wanna upgrade to 255 or higher

My wallet has sprung a leak!

 

I installed 340lph aem green top pump before I sold the taco, still had stock trd injectors and 2.8" pulley. the URD kit is pretty solid, especially install instructions

 

Thank God I got all these mods already.

So now that many of us have been running this blower for years now we find the shortcomings.

Any of you boys had a squeak you can't locate for the life of you? Well this might be why. It was not that easy for me to locate but this is all Magnuson quality here.

For the record, this is coming from the LTR mounting pad.

They only had to design it to last the 60k warranty, right? This is your (our) problem now with HIGH mileage trucks (>60k).

 

I wonder if they sell polyurethane mounting pads like those.

 

great find! are you changing out the cushion, lubing, or glue it in?

 

Definitely checking that when I get home... as I have a very similar squeak. I always thought it was just sheet metal bent up somewhere in the fender/firewall/door area squeaking or making contact. I really bet its that!

 

Easier fix than the squeak from a cracked core support.

 

@12TRDTacoma is it a cushioning pad?
If they don't and you need to Mickey Mouse a solution.....I have a new ES sway bar bushing that you can hack up to the size of the mounting pad.

I also have a good amount of leaf spring liners that might fit the bill.
