Tacoma is the man in that relationship. He should have gotten a vasectomy, pulled out, wrapped that rascal or chosen another orifice.

    That is one ugly baby!!!!

Breed a Ridgeline??? Really??? How much beer did that take? The Tacoma’s friends will never let him live that one down. He’s going to have to park at the back of the lot or across the street.

Yes, it only weighs 45 pounds which is awesome. Taco is our only vehicle so I’m trying to keep it as light as possible where I can.

I’m getting it powder coated in black by same guys, think it was 150$ extra. There is also raw aluminum option but I’m not a fan.

No worries! Just thought it was funny that Toyota’s real life designs are worse than most Joe Schmo’s.

All they need to do is bust out the early truck’s body molds, coupled with a modern chassis.

They do have that Compact Cruiser concept, could see that as a pickup version.

That mini cruiser is very cool looking. I'd buy that over a Tacoma any day.

You are right. I am thankful that some MFGs are able to produce some 'new' classics based on never built VINs or old stock. Trying not to be an old curmudgeon, but vehicles just looked better back in the day. Everything from classics to even the jellybeans of the 2000s. Metal forming got too advanced and styling too polarizing lately.

Totally agree, like the old iron designs much better, if I could afford it would have FJ company build me a quad cab cruiser.

They use a super charged Toyota 4.0, with a coil sprung front end I believe out of a 70 or 80 series. I would do an in-line 6 diesel though.

I could get by with the shorter G43, but I can also imagine that I'd have a lot more frienemies with one of those? Hahaha!

That is a killer chassis though and a ton of selection.

I'd definitely like to see a compact truck from Toyota; just pray it looks nothing like that. Between that, the Santa Cruz, and the Maverick, that is by far the ugliest IMO. Looks more like a minivan with some missing pieces than anything I would call a truck. If it came in a Hybrid version and looked halfway decent, at least better than the Maverick, I'd buy one. Be cool if it could go off-road too. Am I asking too much?

Just thought I'd throw this in here for S&Gs. Looks better anyway, haa!

Oh yeah like the G43 too, seems like the perfect run around size. Love how they combine old skool with modern conveniences. c’mon lotto! Lol!

I see lots of Kei trucks and cars running around here. There's even a couple specialty 25yr+ dealers nearby. Those, the Honda Beat, and the OG little fire trucks running down the road are pretty damn cool.

I'm starting to see a lot more plated SxSs on the road also.
