If you pop the head off, you should be able to see it if it's failed. Since you have to remove the valve cover anyways to do that, might as well just do both.

I'm sure you were going to anyways. Gasket kits for these things are dirt cheap anyways. FYI, the head bolts are not dirt cheap though...

Head gasket would be my guess as well since it didn't smoke. It's a known weak link on these Inteks due to crappy design.

    Lengthened the header.

The Kawasaki is narrower than the Briggs.

    Head gasket on the way.PXL_20220606_193328111.jpg PXL_20220606_194115096.jpg PXL_20220606_194934064.jpg PXL_20220606_203746484.jpg

Why such heavy hubs/wheels on a such a narrow trailer? What does he normally haul?

Got the bracket made and solenoid mounted on the 2,000 lb winch. Now to get it painted and come up with a cover for the solenoid. It'll be perfect for winching stuff up on the small trailer and not having to drag the 8,000 lb one out.

just an observation and I am by no means a DOT police but technically the single chain on the rear does not count as 2 attachment points. If your orange is over 10k, it requires 4 points. if that chain breaks, it is only connected by the other 2 chains in the front. enjoy the new machine.

Yes we are aware of that, plus he should have CDL A,.... but he has kin within the pohpoh community, and all the state troopers around here have been protecting/defending our border for the past year.

Thank you sir! I messed around and built a little Cat 0 top link so I could easily switch to my Sears plows and clean out the furrow.
