TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

I'd really prefer to change out both of the cushions because they are both most likely wasted.

That really makes me wonder how many others of us are affected by the same thing!

Yeah it's like an isolator/ cushion pad to keep the LTR from moving around and damaging the sheet metal support. I was thinking it may come down to doing a mickey mouse type solution as well. How big is your bushing and could it do both sides? Some leaf spring liners could probably fit the bill as well!

 

Got quoted $150 an hour for a mobile welder to come over and weld the mounts up. Gonna go that route and just ask him lots of questions, then try some small stuff on my own

The Mach E's are pretty bitching. They are popular enough that we can't keep at least one on the floor.

That one time though that I almost wrecked a Factory Demo MachE GT that I had for the weekend....there's only so much a sport tuned suspension can handle having a ginormous double stacked battery pack lmao. EV's are pretty heavy..

Range of a fully charged battery was way better than my Tacoma..

Has nothing to do with my Tacoma, but thought our boosted community might appreciate it, nonetheless. My wife and I spent about ten days at the end of May road tripping across the west half of Route 66 (Adrian, TX to the Santa Monica Pier in CA) in my C7 Z06. (We plan a future road trip on the east half in the GT500.) Unlike at home, where about a foot of snow fell while we were gone, the weather was perfect and we had a great time. Thankfully, there were several opportunities to stretch the Z's legs a bit. This one was a steady roll into the throttle from cruising speed. The road got a little rough and we were closing the gap to cars in the distance pretty quickly, or I may have explored more of the additional 25-30MPH she had to give. Unfortunately, the last 10-15% of the speedo is comparatively slow in coming while you're covering a lot of ground quickly...

 

Guy has been trying to sell that thing for over 5 years.

The closer I get to 40 years old the more I want a C8. I used to make fun of corvettes being old man cars and here I go…

lol who even makes that blower? no way he's getting $5k for it. At first, I thought it was a kit but just the blower no way.
