    Ouchie haha. I’ve been looking at getting a commuter car, maybe a Prius Prime. How has getting baby formula been for you?

    we use a smaller brand that's not super well known and have never really had trouble getting it, Amazon delivers a bunch once a month. But they did just email us warning it might be short next time so IDK. Luckily she's pretty much off the bottle except for once or twice a day so it wouldn't be the worst thing. Definitely sucks for people with infants though.

    I don't think gas is expensive enough yet to warrant spending the money plus registration and monthly insurance on another vehicle. Maybe if I had to drive way more than I do. Only fill up 2 - 3 times a month these days

    It kinda just pushed me to do something I should have done long ago really. Driving the cruiser to and from work was about $700 a month before the gas prices went up so much. Would have put me in the negatives now haha

    You gotta get a Saab, fast enough to be fun but you can get 30-35 if you keep your foot light (at least I do in my '05 Linear). Not to mention the abysmal parts availability and GM interior plastic that crumbles in the sun!

    Lol I've only ever bought new tires maybe 6-7 times in my entire life.

    And that's a little bit compared to the many cars I've owned :rofl:

    I definitely don't wanna do new tires anymore.

    That's great to hear, glad you found some stuff. Always nice to support a small company making things in-house. :thumbsup:

    Just wait till November, it will go down.

    Also pretty much anyone I know who went out and did the commuter thing without selling the gas pig said it wasnt worth it. Unless of course it was a sub $1500 total shitbox that you put the bare minimum insurance on.

    @Abeyancer

    Responsible adulting is realizing you could save so much more on a set of lightly used set of tires

    yeah and then that sub $1500 shitbox will need a ton of time and attention that I don't have, definitely not worth it. If I was driving enough to where the current cost of gas was really hurting, I would spring for a more modern commuter that would pay off in the long run in gas savings and wear and tear on the truck. But I definitely don't drive enough now with a ~12 mile daily commute to make that worth it

    Look at all the money you'd save; no supercharger rebuild, no registration, gas, insurance.

    I'll have @Sperrunner hook you up with a bike
