I tried driving with the 1.25” wheels spacers but it rubbed obviously…lol…removed them and now the steering feels much easier to turn the wheels. Is this normal?

Nope and to be I don’t plan on to anytime soon. Stock gears and 35’s are definitely not as bad as people make it seem to be. :)

Don’t like the coopers or just don’t like the size? I’m running 285/75/16’s and I love them. Second set. Next set I want to do your size.

So in my previous post, i was test fitting for bypass shocks. I will need to use spacers up front to clear the bypasses, which i don't want to do. So im going to be dropping down from the 315s to 285s like you.

Ive been all over the place with deciding on which tire to go with next, but after looking at prices, I think im going to stick with ST Maxx in 285s. These are also my second set. I had 255/85/16 before I jumped to 315s, a few years ago.

And actually I am going to be selling these for $600obo for all 5 if you're interested, in a couple weeks. ill be ordering new tires tomorrow.

Just to be up front, they have about 42k miles on them, and the date code is 2017. Might be something to consider if you want to test fit, or run with for a few months before you buy new ones. Also willing to meet halfway.. i see you're in VT. Im in Virginia :anonymous:. Let me know

Gotcha. I just put these on so it’ll be a while before I get another set. I’ll probably end up going with new wheels then. I think the factory pros will be just a little too narrow for the 315’s.

Me too. I been thinking about 37s for about a month. Looking into the JD fab lower arm pivots mount and upgraded steering rack.
The rest of the front end components are beefed up and my firewall/well have had a decent amount of work. I'm also on 5.29s

    Fire wall work.
    IMG_3502 2.jpg

With my fenders cut so high the 35s look small.
