I'm getting my mechanic to put on some 3rd gen struts and do an alignment on Friday, plus a 97 point inspection.

I just did this and had bad results. If anyone has a locking cap that works, please let me know.

I bought a Duralast locking gas cap at AutoZone for $17, the next time I drove my truck I had an evap code. I reset it and put the stock cap back on and I'm good to go. I'd really like to put a locking cap on with gas being over $5/gallon, but I've been told that they were "hit or miss" as far as working on the Tacoma.

Had dual exhaust installed. I used a flowmaster fx. Todays my birthday so I figured I’d spend some money on the truck.

Noticed the driver's outer cv boot was split and leaking. Brake part cleaner to clean, new moly pumped in, cleaned again, black PERMATEX ultra and spring clips overnight, then six windings of Scotch HD 88 Electrical tape. Seems to be holding.

Vacuumed the truck and realized that I should stop eating in it. I also need some carpet shampoo.

Almost forgot. Got robbed at the gas station.

Thanks I love how it looks! The sound is growing on me. I’m used to a flowmaster 40 on a v8 f-150 so it’s different. But it’s not bad. I need to drive it more.

That must have been on there the entire life of the truck and I have payed no mind to it. Looking at it now it looks like it just clocks the diff at an angle. I appreciate it and glad you said something before I threw all the skids back on.

yea ive seen where the diff has bent the bolt and come lose and done some serious damage because of those spacers. They really arnt needed for a 2-3 inch lift. Im at 2.25 and been locked in the front turned a bunch and never had an issue.

I haven’t measured but I’m probably not even lifted 2”. Yeah I’ve heard the same horror stories and never thought I had one on the truck. Thanks again.

Not today but two weeks ago. Removed my camper shell and installed a Leitner ACS Forged bed rack to better help support my RTT. Camper shell wasn’t cutting it.

Installed my ARB single in the “ammo can” of the decked drawer system

    Today
Installed hardwired ARB plug for the fridge when it lives behind my seat.
