Get an alignment and have them set as much positive caster as possible, should help getting it away from the mount.

I got tired of waiting on the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 255 85 r17s (35x10) to be in stock so I bought some 35 10.5 Kendas! Hopefully I can get these on next week.

Thanks again for this measurement. To your naked eye do they look vastly different in width from what you remember/see?

Yes, that’s a spacer. I was making contact with the bypass shock mount on my lower control arms.

It kinda depends on what point you look at on the tires.
I don't notice either of them being "significantly wider" than the other.

Next time my son comes by I'll try to take a "head on" photo of both trucks side by side.
He's more lifted than I am, so proportions won't be exact, but both will be mounted on the stock size wheels.

Thanks so much! I love the side profile of the Geolandars...still need some convincing they aren't too skinny LOOKING though...yes it sounds so superficial

    No worries.
You buy whatever the hell you like for whatever reason you want .

I actually recommended the Coopers for my son, and bought the Yokos for me.
He was looking for a 4 season tire (and in NH, winter is a thing).
I was looking for a 3 season tire, as the stock Wranglers didn't perform turribly in the winter. My current plan is to eventually replace the Wranglers with some dedicated snows.
I might give the Yokos a try in the snow, but generally MTs perform poorly in the snow, which is why I recommended the ATs for my son.

Aesthetics weren't most important to me.
I'm kinda slowly recognizing my goal is more of a "sleeper off roader", so I prioritized 3 season performance over other things (and I could still be wrong about 3 season performance, but so far I'm going down roads in 2WD that certainly required 4WD previously).

Bad news, sounds like MasterCraft has discontinued their Courser 255/85r16. I got two from Walmart last week (online) and saw that they started to disappear as listing from other vendors. Emailed MasterCraft/Cooper and they said they e been discontinued. Which sucks for me, now Ill have to drive 20 miles to return these to a Walmart with a auto center.

    6112/5160s with Icon stage 2 leaf’s.

    Do you mean 255’s?

That’s one of my concerns if I switch to 255/85-16. I’m having a hard time finding any. I’d hate to have one need replacing and having to wait for a long back order.

Does anyone know the actual sidewall construction of the G003?
