My plan is to leave my house 8ish Friday morning. Goggle says 2hrs 14 min. taking hwy 41 and I hate Morning traffic on that road, brings back bad memories from 2011-2014 going to school in Appleton. I'm bringing a tent but I just might do air mattress in the back of the truck.

My plan is to leave here early Sat morning but there is still a very outside chance I'll head up Fri evening with an air mattress and sleeping bag, but it would probably be after 9 before I get there. Have the handheld GMRS charged and ready. Only question is what time to get there if it does turn into Sat arrival.

Stopped on my way home from work tonight and checked to see if I could get into 4lo and lock the axle since I've never done this with this truck. All works as advertised.

Was at the grocery store yesterday. In the checkout line, the couple behind me make a comment about how long the lines are, no matter when you get there. I look back and said something in agreement. He looks at me as says I look familiar and asks my name. I was thinking the same. I tell him my name and he stops and thinks for a minute and goes yeah, that's it! You hung out with my older brother Terry up in Mountain! Then he tells me his name and I say that he had looked familiar also. He grew up just north of National Forest Rd 2308 on Hwy 32. Hadn't seen him in over 35 years, saw his brother just a couple of years ago. Told him about the pipeline gathering, he said he hadn't been up there in almost 15 years.

Looking forward to meeting you! Saturday morning I was thinking about leaving Bearpaw around 9. Pop in anytime before then and we can BS an do introductions. If 9 doesn't work, let us know when you can get there, and maybe we can meet on the trails.

Hell yeah! See you in a few days!

Let us know if you decide to come out Friday, and we'll keep an eye out for you. I'm sure we'll be up telling tall tales until at least 10.

Oh, heck yeah! I was thinking about looking earlier, but got distracted by a butterfly or something. Looks pretty much perfect!

Edit:. Depending what time you show up we might be hanging out at camp. It sounds like a couple of guys will be showing up later in the morning, so maybe we'll go putz around on the trails in the early to mid afternoon and come back later in the afternoon. Either way, we'll have phones and radios.

As for camping Saturday night. Add me. I asked the wife if she would like me be home when she leaves for Minneapolis Sunday morning. Typical woman answer,,,well if you want to be,,,but you don't have to be here.

Also I have a Fumoto Valve, new in box if anyone wants it.

That's identical to the question of "is everything ok?" with the response of "I'm fine."

    Tread lightly...

Solution is not to ask the question, just assume she's fine.

Is this the oil pan drain valve? I'm in, as I will need that once I get my armor sorted out and installed...
