    Have no idea what this is for but the customer wanted some slots with a chamfer. May be making one from scratch, I hope so, it looks like a fun piece to make :D

    Three of us shimmycrawled up underneath and cut the hinges and 3' x 4' cover removed and out of there inside a hour. Diablo Steel Demon carbide tipped saw blades. Worth every penny $20.00 each.
    There was slightly more headroom where the cover was but had to actually crawl on belly to get there.

    My Go to would be a cutting disc on a 4" grinder.

    Fan better control for depth then a sawzall

    If your worried about a fire hazard it is easy to aim most of the sparks at a damp cotton cloth.

    Since I was the smallest and youngest at 12 I was volunteered to crawl into the tightest most interesting places .

    No wonder Plumbers charge so much .

    I have not used the Sawzall ot the Portaband since I pulled them off the truck longer ago then I think
