You might be able to negotiate them off or down on price but with it being a sellers market right now, it might not work.

Guest dealer link I entered my temporary vin number in the past and it would show my truck, which is due to be built today, I enter temporary vin today and it said, page not found contact dealer, is that a indication the temporary vin has been deleted for the actual vin?

Anyone have any idea how long truck could be on rail? I'm just trying to get an average sense of the timeline. Mine departed San Diego be rail on 6-2 and destination is Lordstown Ohio.

Mine has been in rail depart since 05/20... salesperson states that it has to arrive this week. But, idk if that means it has to arrive at the railyard this week, or if it has to be arrive at the dealership this week..
I have seen a few people wait about 2 weeks max for vehicles to just be loaded on a truck from the railyard.

I think 2-3 weeks is a good estimate. Mine left SD on 5/10 and arrived in Chicago on 5/27, so 17 days.

Thanks everyone. That gives me some sense as to what to expect. My salesman told me early on, that the truck would be delivered around 6-20. It would only be about 135 miles to the dealership once truck is off train.

Went out to get some hardware last night and I saw that gas prices here in SW Montana went up $0.40 over the past week.
I'm pretty sure by the time my truck arrives it's going to be over $5.00 a gallon. :lalala:

    I just wanted a SR 4x4 v6 double cab.
Called 4 dealerships. One wanted $500 non refundable deposit to put me on a list, one wanted $1,000. One wanted $500 refundable but insisted I also buy $3,000 in dealer installed stuff (lo Jack, nitrogen in tires, window tint, paint chip film). Fourth wanted $500 refundable deposit no other strings. Said one was due in in 6 weeks. Took my credit card # and reserved it for me. Two days later called me. Another customer had one reserved. It came in. His wife said she changed his mind so he called me. I bought it.

It just hit $5.00 here. Luckily we have a little 4 banger that gets 32mpg around town for running errands, and this is my dream vehicle I've wanted since I was a kid and I'm pretty convinced they are going to kill the manual transmission on the 4th gen so I don't have much choice anyways, haha.

    That's the dream
