Recently my tacomas front end strut was replaced with the MasterPro strut assembly 32TY1101. However this left the front about 2in lower than it was before. What strut should I replace it with that way it's back to its original height?

Find a 3rd gen tacoma OffRoad set of take-offs, you will be extremely happy with the result! Look on the for sale forums and on FB Marketplace

well sure, cost you more though...you can find take offs with little to no miles on them. I think mine had 10000 miles is all...sometimes you can find them new. Look around and see what you can find

Pretty sure those preassembled struts are marked for the DS and PS. Are they correct? Monroe also makes "quick struts," but not sure if that would be an improvement.

Did you keep or have access to the old suspension struts? If so, you could just replace the shocks on the front struts. If not, 3rd gen take offs would be the best bet. Otherwise you're talking about some $$$ or about two tanks of fuel.

Unfortunately the mechanic got rid of the old ones :(
From what I gather they are pre-assembled? Is that a problem? Do you have any recommendations for a replacement to return it to its original height?

Look good! and just make sure you mention the color dots and driver vs passenger side. Not sure where you live, but people on these forums are pretty cool and may help you install them if you ask. I would if youre in Michigan.

My 3rd gen take offs only had a 100 or so miles on them and the same guy I bought them off from is selling another set with only 10 miles on them.

I live in Texas. But I appreciate the offer. I got an offer on the front two struts for 200 dollars :) could you just tell me how those colored dots work. Like how do I know which one is for the drivers side and which is for the passagers?
