Please say a Prayer for “Parker”

Thanks for checking in @Tacomasaurus Rex! My mother is hanging in there and an incredibly strong woman! She is still on the ventilator—at low settings thankfully—and the new place she is at is working to wean her off of it. (She was moved from a “hospital” to a “skilled nursing facility.”). The wounds she developed from bed sores are a mess but she is a fighter! Myself and my family are thankful for the prayers!

(…and though I don’t have as much time as I would like to be on the forums and post, know I do try to keep up with subscribed threads, and I’m keeping all you others lifted up in prayer also!)

Parker’s doing good and I meant to mention that she’s a roller! She rolls all over the house and seems to be doing really good figuring out how to get places. The other day she accidentally figured out how to go backwards while up on her knees. Wife said Parker got the lightbulb on look because she had discovered something new! She is also able to stand up in her bouncer but not so well without it so far. I’m amazed with her period but never thought she’d be able to hold her head up with the helmet on. She is blowing away everyone’s expectations and we appreciate the Prayers for her! Thanks very much!

Prayer request from a friend indeed!!!

Robert Wenzel goes in for surgery tomorrow at 6am for knee surgery. Please pray as the LORD leads you, but also that God/Jesus Christ/Holy Spirit is with the Dr’s and the nursing staff, anesthesiologist, praying that it’s a successful knee surgery, that he has no clots, recovers quickly & whatever else that you can think of… and that they do the correct knee! LoL! Thanks!

 

Kept him in prayer last night and praying everything went smoothly.

From his wife:

Rob’s at home now sleeping it off- meniscus sewn up in 2 places, found a piece that ripped off completely that was floating around, so they removed that, no cartilage left which is causing problems. Next step will be partial or total knee replacement but they are hoping this holds him for a bit. He’s in more pain than he expected, but the surgeon said everything went very well.
He’s on crutches until vacation (in 2 weeks). Right now he’s mostly sleeping off the anesthesia and pain meds. He’s supposed to keep moving to prevent blood clots, so I will get him up and around later, but today he’s not going to be very mobile.

 

Checked in on Rob!!!

Well, the day after the surgery, he said that it felt better than it has in months. Just needs more prayers and hopefully no blood clots. Thanks for asking.

 

Any updates? Hopefully he is recovering well!

 

Rob is doing good. He over did it the other day, crawling around on concrete trying to rewire his trailer. He said it was hurting pretty bad yesterday. That was the other day, however I asked again but haven’t gotten a response yet.

 

Here is the all important heads up in advance Prayer request… Friday July 18th Our good friends at Church are going to have Best Interest Staffing come by their house to check out their home. Hopefully the little girl they were trying to adopt will get to come home to them. They have adopted numerous foster children and would give this child a happy home full of Brothers and Sisters.

 

Sounds good. Crawling around rewriting a trailer sounds a little painful even when in good health!

Sounds wonderful and like they are truly instruments of the Lord. I will definitely keep the whole situation lifted up in prayer.

Side request: Please keep my mother in prayer, she has been doing so well and during a routine trip to the hospital to get her feeding tube looked at, she’s wound up in the ICU because they wouldn’t reconnect her to the ventilator in the evenings—like I tried to explain was the way the order had been written—to multiple nurses and the Nursing Supervisor as well, ask to no avail!

On his way to Fl. for vacation now. I think he headed out an hour ago.

Hello I have yet another Prayer request for you!!! Can’t really say much about it but it’s important! Makes GOD happy, Military related, court related, and Constitutional rights are being abused. We have to make a stand somewhere and this young man is doing it and needs our Prayers! We can do our part by sending Jesus our Prayer concerns to take to GOD THE FATHER! Thank you Jesus and God in advance! Thanks to you also!
