Been a little busy since I got her. Added Oedro Steps, BakFlip Tonneau, Tinted Windows, added some Decals, Blacked out emblems, installed tailgate lock, replace high/low beam and fog lights with LED, Window guards and added a bed extender. Thinking about getting some 265/75 R16 Toyo open country A/T III next but not sure how they will look. I don't really want to change out the wheels.

 

Installed Morimoto XB Tail lights. Love how they look.

 

Installed some crossbars on my crossbars

 

Installed RCI full skids and rear diff skid plate. Also, installed RCI roof rack with Diode Dynamics SSC1’s for chase lights.

 

Got my Warn winch installed today!



Couple notes. Install on the body armor bumper was easy. Everything fit perfectly on the bumper and had plenty of clearance once it was installed on the truck. I went with the Warn VR EVO 10-S. Having the wireless controller is a must with this setup, the warn controller works perfectly. Reaching the clutch is no problem if you pop the hood for a sec to free spool it. I will be upgrading the included hook shortly but this one seems pretty sturdy. Without doing a recovery yet I give the whole setup an A-. I did run the line out and tension it. The winch was smooth and steady the whole way. My only gripe is with a light installed in the bumper checking on the line while it’s winding is a pain. It can be seen through the logo cut out with a light or if the sun is at the right angle. That being said I still love this setup!

 

Installed a 2in leveling kit over the weekend. Used a 2in Rough Country front spacer and a 1in Supreme Suspensions block for the rear. Ended up getting close to 2 1/2 in lift in the front. Ride still feels the same. Still need to schedule an alignment.

Random but anyone else have their shell fuel rewards turn to 0 cents off a gallon?

 

I stopped using shell a few months ago and switched to Costco. Big differences in price, haven't checked shell card in months. Did you call customer service #?

 

Finally ordered a BakFlip X4s from Luke at truck-alterations , but I've gotta wait 2-4 weeks for a custom order.

A little beauty in the setting sun at the projects. The paint looks like glass looking at it in person. Love Meguiar's Ceramic Wax as a drying aid. Camera through 2 panes of glass does not do it justice.

 

The vintage "three click' gas cap required @MESO V2 gashole with a slight modification for one-handed use, but not too much, or it will be too loose.

 

Finally finished.. 2021 Tacoma SR5: 3” Bilstein 5100 shocks and struts, 285/70r17 Falken Wild Peak, Black Rhino wheels (-6 offset), no cutting, no rubbing!

 

I waited a while for mine too from the same dude, I think. I don’t remember lol.
