unfortunately, w a bender, you have to buy a 400 die for the material you want to bend. I’m limited to 1.75 or 1.5 if I make a rig for it. 2.5 is not an option.

Have you asked a local exhaust shop what it would be for them to just cut and bend for you?

I would need a @Kwikvette Every time I get pricing on shit it’s like c’mon. Plus, I would need to fab and mig tac and bring to someone.

On planet California there is a master fabricator on every corner. On planet New Jersey they make 200k in the union and don’t do car stuff.

This is just the problem of the month. If I didn’t have something to bitch about, the project would be no fun.

I tried to rescue some 1-1/2" schedule 80 from a dumpster a few days ago. Looked like old handrail in 16-20' lengths. It wasn't a steel dumpster either. I asked a guy if I could take it. He said si. Two minutes later it was like I was trying to rob ft. Knox. There were a lot of 90's in there too.:D
